July 6 2006, my life changed forever, that was the day I got a phone call at 2am that my mom had committed suicide……..

Up until this point, I had been working with professional athletes, I had an exercise science degree, and lived in the world of science, V02 maxes, macronutrients etc.

I was traveling the world with UFC heavy weight champs, on TV, feeling pretty cool.

But when my mom died I realized I had all the skill sets that could have saved her but I was using them to help people win games, vs saving a life.

So I took all my savings and opened my first brick and mortar transformation facility.

Almost instantly I knew I was in trouble.  We spent a ton of money on build out, branding, looking good…….but it was empty.

I watched my bank account dwindled paid bills late. While at the same time

Paid to have a commercial air on local tv…($5k)...got nothing.

Hired an SEO website guy $7k….0 Clients from that

Paid a Marketing Agency $2500…..Nada there too

Turned on FB Ads…..trickle of leads….but huge flow of $ out of my account.

The few people that did come in were so overwhelmed by the 15 different packages and options we had that most couldn’t decide, and so they didn’t buy.

My science background made me want to talk all about the “how it worked” vs learning to listen and consult my prospects, to hear their pain and give them hope…So they didn’t buy

6 Months in and I was barely making $6k a month and didn’t know if I was going to make it.

Until a friend suggested I work with his biz coach….some guy named Alex.

He wanted $10,000 but promised me it fix my biz.I put it on a credit card that was already almost maxed out.

Thank God I Did.

It worked, 3 years later and 3 profitable locations in 2 states I sold it all.
